Submissions after the deadline are welcome on a rolling basis. Accepted papers will be published online continuously and formally included in subsequent issues.
About the JournalUlysseus Young Explorers in Science (UYES) is a peer-reviewed journal for high school students that provides a platform for publishing research, developing critical thinking, and fostering international collaboration.
The online journal, published in English by Ulysseus European University, offers high academic standards, international visibility, and a unique experience in scientific publishing.
Aim and ScopeUYES aims to nurture curiosity, critical thinking, creativity, and evidence-based reasoning, and to help students develop the skills needed for future university studies and research careers.
The journal welcomes original student research papers and project-based contributions across a broad range of disciplines. Submissions may be experimental, theoretical, applied, or interdisciplinary.
Who Can SubmitSubmissions are invited from:
- Individual secondary school students
- Student teams or project groups
- Students working under
the supervision of a teacher or mentor
All manuscripts undergo a standard academic peer-review process adapted to the level of secondary school research. Authors receive constructive feedback to help them improve their work and gain valuable experience with academic publishing standards.
